About this item

- Outer dimensions of the roaster measures 13.4 inches in length, 10.2 inches in width, and 7.5 inches in height. Comes with a lid and a bottom.
- Crafted from all-natural clay material, Römertopf clay roasters are made without Lead, Cadmium, or fillers. They have undergone safety testing in both Europe and the USA to ensure compliance.
- The roaster has a glazed base for easy cleaning, and is safe for use in ovens and microwaves. It can tolerate temperatures as high as 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- We recommend soaking the unglazed lid of the roaster in water before use. During cooking, the water will evaporate and a mantle of steam will be created. The lid is intentionally designed to allow some of the steam to escape, so it is not a tight fit.
