About this item
- A perfect roasting solution for families of up to four members. With a capacity of 3.2 quarts (3 liters), you can create delicious roasts, casseroles, and stews. It's also excellent for bread baking, accommodating up to 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg).
- The base of the roaster is glazed, which allows effortless cleaning. It is oven and microwave safe and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- We recommend soaking the unglazed lid of the roaster in water before use. During cooking, the water will evaporate and a mantle of steam will be created. The lid is intentionally designed to allow some of the steam to escape, so it is not a tight fit.
- Crafted from all-natural clay material, Römertopf clay roasters are made without Lead, Cadmium, or fillers. They have undergone safety testing in both Europe and the USA to ensure compliance.
